A native of Gadsden, Alabama, Viola Chancellor is a matriarch, retired government employee and first-time author of "The Spiritual Journey: Memoirs of Viola Chancellor".

 

Since childhood, Viola has experienced paranormal encounters and in 2000 began to journal details from earlier memories and dreams. Through journaling, an epiphany unveiled that her Ancestors were communicating and providing guidance through the dream state. Inspired to know more about her lineage, Viola dedicated over 25 years to genealogy research and in 2018 documented her ancestral timeline in a Family Memory Book.
